The botanical name for this orchid is "Bulbophyllum Scotinochiton, and originates from Sumatra...but also found in other parts of the world. There are so many varieties of orchids, some 3,500 known standards, with many more on the rise which have yet to be documented. The orchid family is one of my favorite flowers, at least it's at the top of the list. I hope you enjoy them as much as I.

Fostering an appreciation for art became an intense desire for me during the 1960's "Age of Aquarius" movement. I wanted to be a hippy and join in on the fun.
